Reasons To DisagreeNo deities or gods only the force. 22 February 2011
In short, I do not consider the term "the Force" to be a deity. 1 April 2011
No there is only the force and every living being that is part of it,no matter has life or free will beyond the force. 11 August 2011
The Force is not a deity at all! The Force is balanced by each pound of living and no living will. We can easily understand that by simply analyze the straightness of both sides of the force - as many Jedi's members vs Sith's members with their supporters may interfere in the balance of The Force. So The Force is the SUM of the will of good and bad, and it also contains the Gods and all deities from both sides. 31 August 2011
We believe that the Force is just that - a force. It does not have a consciousness. 5 February 2012
I do not believe there is a "God" who controls everything. There may be "higher beings," but the force is the power of the universe, not deities. 11 February 2012
universe is creater of all life 2 April 2012

The force is not a deity. Free will indeed. 14 April 2015
The Force is a natural occurence of the universe. We may not understand its parameters, but it certainly exists within the confines of a set of laws. 1 January 2016
I am an Atheist who understands the Force as the energy field that flows through all things. It itself is not sentient. If it is not sentient, it cannot be a deity. 2 August 2016
A deity serve no purposes whatsoever, we developed on our own, we learn and grow from our past and present, from the experiences one's own entity and other's. 9 September 2016
For me the force is no deity. just a power made up of the life that feeds it.both light and dark.the free will is ours to choose our path and empower the force as we act. dark takes life weakens the force. light saves life strengthens the force. The force is neutral as it cannot choose to be light or dark. its our choice with by what we feed to it. 11 November 2017
Only the Force 12 May 2019

Reasons To AgreeObviously the Will of the Force cannot be limited by us, and is therefore free in and of itself. Similarly, any being that has free will and the power of the Force must be considered a deity. Does the Force have a personality? If it has free will, it almost certainly must. 25 February 2011
In some ways, the Force can be considered a deity. Jedi, in a way, "worship" the Force through meditation. As for free will, I'm sure the Force can and, in some cases, WILL interact with people or objects whenever the time is right. 7 March 2011
I believe that our deity is the force as it watches us, it is all around us and it gives us life. 14 March 2011
I belive that the force is an element of creation and is strong enough in the structure of life to be a power 17 March 2011
I bleieve the Force has/is intelligence. I believe that there are lesser Dieties or Gods and Goddesses made up of the Force. 20 May 2011
The Force is much like a deity. The Force has free will to act within us and around us. So, the Force must have free will. In short, I agree. 11 June 2011
its energy the life force creation energy that would enable psychic ability force powers 13 December 2012
Obviously the Will of the Force cannot be limited by us, and is therefore free in and of itself. Similarly, any being that has free will and the power of the Force must be considered a deity. Does the Force have a personality? If it has free will, it almost certainly must. 28 January 2013
The Force is one aspect of deity. 23 April 2013
Two actually, but that is my personal choice, not one that should influence this place 22 August 2013
The force may be considered our deity however it is not like the deities of most religions. There is of course free-will because the force does not control us nor we control it. 2 December 2013
The Force has a Will. 6 December 2014
as above so below. the force is energy, we are made of energy this energy has to make up somthing bigger that we are apart of. the univerce is the signal cell of a larger being and everything in the univerce is the as you breake down the cell into molicules, atoms, and particals. the more we know ourselves the more we know this being we help to make up. 1 January 2015
The strength of the indvidual Jedi is not completely determined by their endeavors. That being said, It may not be an individual but a power that controls all things. 14 June 2019

Reasons for Remain Neutral
The Force is not a deity, but it does have free will.
The force is not a deity, but free will is part of everyday life like the force.
I believe in free will but the idea of deity revokes that
The force is not a deity, but rather the gathered consciousness of all living things, but it does have a will of its own
The Force is not a deity. It simply is. We as humans decide weather or not to make it a deity. I think that God, Allah, Yahweh, Jehovah, and The Force are different names for the same thing. There is so much that we don't know about The Force we really can't really begin to comprehend it.
I believe in Spirituality and some things cannot be explained. The force is just one interpretation of this spirituality.
The Force is not a deity, but it does have free will.
I concur
I believe there are deities - different facets of the same spirit... part of the Force, yet different. The Force is another word for "chi" - but not really a deity, though it is eternal.
The force could be considered to be a deity
I don't believe that the force is a deity. the force flows through all living things just like chi. I don't believe that there's a deity's persay but those who have passed to the next live to guide us
I believe in the force. The name say it all. To package it any other form would put constraints. its like trying to call magnetism a deity. However the force does have a collective will.
I believe in the force, and I cannot deny or confirm the existence of deities.
I don't see the Force as the deity as others may, but more of the energy as other explained, however I feel that the force has its on free will as do Everyone - Those more in tune with the force may be more likely to sway their actions either for the good or bad of all things the Force touches
Io credo nella forza
